The 2024 IAPH Worl Ports Conference will take place on 8 – 10 October in Hamburg, Germany to bring together stakeholders from the global maritime supply chain including port authorities, policy makers, ship and cargo owners and service providers, to speak about managing risk - building resilience - unlocking opportunities.

The conference will look how the rise of geopolitical tensions, changing trade patterns, the influence of an ever-changing energy transition landscape and cyberattacks on ports are impacting the maritime supply chain. More importantly, it will share tools ports can equip themselves with in order to become more resilient. 

HAROPA PORT will participate in "Global port markets in motion" plenary on Wednesday 9 at 9:45am:

The inter-connected markets for container, dry bulk, liquid bulk, multipurpose and ro-ro cargo are becoming increasingly unpredictable as geopolitical uncertainty spreads and demand swings get more frequent and pronounced. How can ports benefit from sharing knowledge with each other while at the same time protecting and insulating their own commercial strategies against competition?
