HAROPA PORT will be taking part in the Smart Digital Ports of the Future conference, to be held in Rotterdam on September 24 and 25.

Jérôme Besancenot, Digital Transition Project Director, will be taking part in the round table "The ins AND out : port call optimisation, traffic management and supply chain integration" on September 25 at 14pm. 

Accurately managing, predicting and scheduling the flow of cargo at both ends of the port is essential for reducing congestion, emisions and running an efficient operation, Numeros strategies and technologies required to streamlig the role of ports in the wider supply chain.

This session will consider the numeros factors when coordinating with the wider of supply chain moving cargo smoothly from vessels to trucks and trains. 

An opportunity for Jérôme Besancenot to present the emblematic projects of France's leading port. In particular, he will present the MyETA application developed by the Easyport public interest group. By combining artificial intelligence with the data from SOGET’s Port Community System S)ONE and HAROPA PORT, My ETA provides the expected time of arrival of ships in a port.  

The conference is an international event bringing together all the key players in the global supply chain (ports, terminal operators, logistics providers, etc.). For two days, industry professionals are invited to discuss and share the latest trends in new technologies.
