HAROPA PORT is a multi-sector port whose infrastructure can handle all types of traffic. It offers regular maritime services and attractive and environmentally-friendly multimodal solutions thanks to its solid expertise.

PASSENGERS

Welcoming over 250,000 passengers a year at three dedicated cruise terminals, plus nearly eight million passengers carried on the Seine, HAROPA PORT is a major port for sea and river cruises and an active contributor to the promotion of the Seine’s attractiveness for tourists.

MULTIMODALITY

Among the strategic objectives set for the period to 2025, France’s leading port is looking to promote transfer to mass freight modes (rail, river) of 20% in the case of containers and 40% for bulk. This goal addresses the issues surrounding both decarbonisation and the ecological transition for logistics flows. In this way, HAROPA PORT is investing to obtain the right infrastructures for modal transfer and is contributing to the development of new multimodal services. Alongside this, action is ongoing to facilitate goods throughput across the Seine Axis based on greater efficiency for administrative and customs processes.

INNOVATION

Development of research is certainly a core focus for the national port strategy adopted in 2021. But HAROPA PORT has not been slow in recent years to make its mark as drivers of innovation.

Operating as it does in a hypercompetitive environment, HAROPA PORT is pursuing development to capture new customers and move logistics chains over to the Seine Axis. This is a strategic lever for growth in order to win, or win back, market share.

As an actor in the energy transition and green growth, HAROPA PORT promotes the dynamism and competitivity of Grand Paris. As France’s leading inland port, HAROPA PORT’s action in favour of sustainable, multimodal logistics contributes to the attractiveness of France’s largest city.

Calls for declarations of interest and calls for project proposals

With an area of 16,000 hectares and 12m sq. m. of warehousing space stretching from Le Havre to Paris, HAROPA PORT regularly offers opportunities for setting up new operations to develop its port traffic and service offerings.
