Calls for declarations of interest / calls for project proposals : HAROPA PORT launches a call for expressions of interest to improve ship waste management

HAROPA PORT launches a call for expressions of interest to improve the collection of operating waste and liquid and solid cargo residues from ships that usually frequent the ports of Le Havre and Rouen. A budget of 7 million euros is allocated to co-finance the selected projects.

The port would like to identify collectors able to propose innovative and adapted solutions that would strengthen the existing offer, in compliance with the approval required for this activity.

To this end, the port will award a subvention to finance part of the investment planned by the beneficiary collector(s).

This approach, which is in line with the requirements of the international MARPOL (Marine Pollution) Convention, reinforced by EU Directive 883/2019, aims to minimize the environmental impact of ships.
