A stronger partnership for the energy transition

HAROPA PORT and Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches are extending their partnership with a clear objective: to make river transport in Paris greener. Under the new agreement, the company commits  to put into service a boat with a clean engine (hybrid or electric) by the end of 2026.

A fleet committed to zero emissions

With its twelve river boats, Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches welcomes more than 3 million passengers every year. It is continuing to invest in recyclable boats running on clean energy, as part of a drive to minimise its environmental footprint.

A legacy of the Paris 2024 Games

The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games marked a breakthrough in the electrification of docks and the use of cleaner engines. HAROPA PORT and its partners are building on this momentum over the long term by supporting those involved in the river towards more sustainable mobility.
