These large-scale investments by TiL MSC will benefit two strategic container terminals: Terminaux de Normandie MSC (TNMSC) and Terminal Porte Océane (TPO)

Like the first two, these three new gantry cranes have a span of 27 rows of containers and a lifting height under spreader of 59 m. Designed to handle the world's largest container ships (24,000 TEU), and taking account of future developments, they will increase the port's handling capacity.

With this delivery, five of the nine pieces of equipment ordered by TiL MSC have now been delivered

For their arrival, the access channel to Port 2000 was secured and the unloading of the equipment was carried out thanks to close cooperation between all the players in the port: harbour master's office, tugs, pilots, stevedores, stevedores, etc.

The modernisation of the handling equipment is part of Port Operators’ and HAROPA PORT's ongoing drive to deploy state-of-the-art infrastructure.
