MEDLOG has realized its first loading/unloading operation on its new multimodal platform in the Paris region area. Loaded in Le Havre, the SMACK river barge reached Bruyères-sur-Oise on Wednesday 27 November 2024, marking the start of the connection between the Paris region, the Grand Est and Le Havre.

Paris and the Greater East connected all the way to the sea

With this launch, MSC is offering a sustainable logistics solution linking the Paris region and the East of France to its maritime terminals in Le Havre, combining rail and river.

The MEDLOG Inland Terminal Paris-Bruyères project is part of a wider development project being carried out by the TiL MSC group, which is also investing in its infrastructure at Port 2000 in Le Havre. The arrival of the first two mega gantry cranes, on 8 November the last, is a testimony.

This new service reinforces the strategic role of the Bruyères-sur-Oise hub. By connecting the Ile-de-France region and the hinterland to Le Havre, MEDLOG is helping to further structure HAROPA PORT's green logistics corridor.
