maritime, development : MSC strengthens its direct links from Le Havre to Angola and Congo

MSC, one of the world's leading shipping companies, has announced an improvement to its NWC-Morocco to West Africa service. With two new direct calls to Luanda (Angola) and Pointe-Noire (Congo) from Le Havre, HAROPA PORT becomes the only French port included in this service, reinforcing its key role in trade between Europe and Africa.

This service marks a first for MSC: direct connections from North-West Europe (NWC) to Angola and Congo with competitive transit times

  • Pointe-Noire (Congo): in just 19 days from Le Havre,
  • Luanda (Angola): in 21 days from Le Havre.

The rotation started on 25 November 2024, with the call of the MSC SUEZ ship in Le Havre on 1 and 2 December 2024, marking the strengthening of flows between Europe and West Africa.

HAROPA PORT is delighted with this launch, which is fully in line with its international development strategy.
