inaugural stopover, maritime, traffics : LNG-powered Eagle Valence makes its inaugural stopover to Le Havre

For the first time, this LNG-powered VLCC (very large crude carrier) made port call at Le Havre's Antifer terminal. Operated under French flag, it features the latest technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Chartered by TotalEnergies in partnership with the Malaysian shipowner AET, this vessel was built by Samsung heavy industries in Geoje, South Korea. It is the first in a series of six LNG-fueled crude carriers, and joins the company's fleet of time-charters.

It is 330 m long and 60 m wide, with a loading capacity of 300,000 dwt and a draught of 21 m.

The Eagle Valence relies on the LNG bunkering network of TotalEnergies Marine Fuels, the TotalEnergies entity dedicated to bunkering activities, for its supplies.
