Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 : The Seine superstar of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games

In just a few days, the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will open on the Seine, the capital's emblematic artery. HAROPA PORT has made its port available to host this planetary event, including the opening ceremony and the open-water events.

To ensure the smooth operation of this unprecedented event, HAROPA PORT, Paris 2024 and the City of Paris have signed several Temporary Occupancy Agreements (COT). These are part of a global cooperation and specify the terms and the conditions for making available the port infrastructures and river sites - linear quays, bridges, stretch of water - identified to host the opening ceremony and the areas dedicated to the competitions (triathlon, marathon swimming, road cycling - individual time trial and para triathlon).

In addition, 21 houseboats have also been repositioned and temporary facilities put in place. These included the installation of piles to support floating pontoons for swimming events.
