After being used to build the gravity-based foundations of the Fécamp offshore wind farm, the Bougainville quay now welcomes to the blades of the German-Spanish company. Between July and mid-August 2024, 24 maritime transfers were organised from the factory aboard the M/V JOE cargo ship.

93 81-metre-long blades are currently stored on the quayside, awaiting delivery to the offshore wind farm off islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier.

A new operation of 27 maritime transfers is scheduled for January 2025 to enable the storage of 105 additional blades: 42 for the Vendéen project and 63 for the Dieppe - Le Tréport project.

By making its port available to the offshore wind industry, HAROPA PORT continues to actively support France's energy transition objectives, which aim to achieve a 33% share of renewable energy in its energy mix by 2030.
