GMP is equipping its terminal by replacing the old diesel models with 100% hybrid-powered straddle carriers. This change is part of GMP's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint by cutting fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The cabs will also enhance driver safety and comfort, thanks to a significant reduction in noise pollution during handling operations.

This order is in addition to the first 12 already delivered in 2023, and will bring the total number of hybrid straddle carriers to 54.

This new equipment is perfectly in line with the energy and ecological transition strategy pursued by France's leading port.
