Their arrival in Le Havre on Friday, November 8, 2024 marks the beginning of the metamorphosis of Le Havre's two container terminals. Ordered in 2023, they are part of a series of 9 gantry cranes included of TiL's €900 million investment plan.

With a capacity of 27 container rows and a spreader height of 59 m, they can handle the world’s largest container ships (24,000 TEU).

This delivery also marks a new step in the completion of the third stage of Port 2000. HAROPA PORT has already invested €150 million to deliver the last two berths, enabling the terminal to operate at 100% capacity. This will boost the port's competitiveness in the Northern range.

An exceptional operation!

Built in China by ZPMC (Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited), they were transported to the port of Le Havre aboard the Zhen Hua 27, a heavy lift vessel. In Le Havre, their unloading is being orchestrated by the ZPMC teams: an extraordinary operation that will take place over 5 days.

At the end, the group will operate a total of 24 gantries, doubling its capacity at Port 2000.
